Geoff Lewis, M.S., CSCS Owner/Founder
Geoff is a local product of the Erie area. He competed in many sports during his youth, including soccer, baseball, football, track & field. During his time at Fairview High School Geoff excelled in the sport of football, where he was a two time all-county player and a 1st Team All-State lineman as a senior. After his senior year he was selected to participate in the Big 33 Football Classic. Being selected for the Big 33 All Star game is the top honor a football player in the state of Pennsylvania can receive. After high school Geoff took his talents to West Virginia University where he was a three year letter-man in football, and a 2 time 1st Team Big East All-Academic Team selection. Geoff was a part of 3 post-season bowl games (00-Music City Bowl, 02-Continental Tire Bowl, 04 Toyota Gator Bowl). During his senior season WVU was the co-champion of the Big East Conference.
Geoff's academic career started in Physical Therapy and then progressed to Exercise Physiology where he earned a Bachelor's degree from the School of Medicine in 2004 and then earned his Master's Degree in Athletic Coaching with an Emphasis on Strength & Conditioning in 2005. During that time, Geoff was the head Strength & Conditioning Coach at University High School in Morgantown WV. There he implemented strength & conditioning programs for 15 varsity sports both male and female. He also partnered with sports medicine professionals to implement an ACL Injury Reduction Program focusing on the female athletes in the program.
Geoff was the Executive Director of Athletic Republic for 2 years where he directed the first athletic development center in the region that focused on the development of athletes in the Erie area. Geoff's passion for helping athletes and adults reach their true potential for performance and health has led to the dream that is Lewis Fitness & Performance. In addition to running LFP, Geoff currently serves as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Mercyhurst University Men's & Women's Basketball Teams.
